On this final day of summer, I wanted to share a painting from a few years ago, inspired by mild evenings and star watching by the lake. This piece was the first time I’d painted a reflection, and I was very doubtful about how it would turn out. But this little cabin (and it’s reflection) went on to inspire a whole series of cabins on lakes in all different seasons.
