Creating artwork has been a slow process lately. As we do all of the things and go to all the appointments to prepare for our new baby, painting has become a place for my soul to rest and something to enjoy in between napping and attempting to get organized.

My focus has shifted from producing and finishing pieces to just enjoying the process as I work on paintings very slowly. In a way the journey has become the reward.
